watch my video over and over to see exactly how I do it. One side of your work should look like knitting (flat), the other side should look like purling (bumpy). That is the stockinette stitch. Keep at it. Practice makes perfect.

Ms. Judy, I am still a novice knitter and it’s been a couple of years since I’ve knitted anything. Your videos are so helpful, concise, and the red yarn is a huge visual aid. Thank you so much… now I’m off to knit a scarf.

Can you make a video of how you hold the needles and actually knit (preferably a slow version of it). I always hold mine the way i saw in the very first video of knitting that i watched but you seem to hold it differently and do it much faster.

I’ve been watching and reading how to purl in knitting and I seem to never understand it! This video has competely changed my perspective in learning new things in knitting! Thank you so much for making awsome videos!
